My dad married a Indonesian woman about 3 yrs ago, and since then the live together, my parents are divorced, so me and my sister visit our dad during the holidays. Last year my sister was having problems in the last place we lived (kentucky) so she went to live with my dad, that didnt last long because my sister and my stepmom got into a fight, for instance one fight started because my stepmom put a bowl that my sister didnt wash on the stairs and my sister slipped and fell because of the bowl.So my sister came back to kentucky.
I personally have always had good experiences with my stepmom, but this school year i moved here with my dad because i wanted to spend time with him before i go to college. So im living here and im getting what my sister was saying, because at first i thought it was my sisters fault because she didnt talk to my stepmom, or cleaned. Before i came to move here i made an effort to learn about her culture, and i actualy got realy into it, but she is always mean.
I have talked to my dad about it, and he said that she looks at if my room, as if its dirty, im disrespecting her, but i think its immature to treat differently somebody based on their room, i mean come on! im a teenager! Im not saying that all indonesian people are mean b/c ive been to the indonesian party's at the counsel and they are really nice.
more details: when ever we are by our selves at home i get nervous around her because she puts of this mean vibe. so i dont realy talk to her, everything she says is usaly scolding or a one answer grunt. i don't besides from my room being dirty there is nothing i do wrong to her, and all my family thinks so too. b/c i am the most friendly person in my family.

I understand bahasa, but I can't really speak. My mom is from Indonesia that's why. ^^ (This question popped out out of boredom... But still, I want it answered^^)

Can anybody translate or provide a link to an online translator that has this language? My guess was Hindi, but I had it evaluated by an online program and it said Indonesian... Unfortunatley, it couldn't translate either one.

If it helps it was in Bride and Prejudice's Goa Groove... I've had no such luck in finding a translation under that as well.

Foreign Language

I'm a Malaysian lady ,in a relationship with Bandung,Indonesian guy..for almost 2 years..he is Japan working and Im still in Malaysia working to.We communicate via YM almost everyday 24 hours.webcam and voice call.we love each other so much..untill....the current crisis between Malaysia and Indonesia...both of us starts to talk about it..and end up arguing..and both of us try our best to protect our own country T__T sad..frightened...wat should i do...both of us are emotional...but what should i do to protect our relation ship...n does this love between two conflict counrty gonna work out T__T
David@ but he finish his working contract in Japan by this coming September, n will be back for good to Indonesia.We will only meet up on October T__T I met his parents last May , alone, lone ranger to Bandung...it seems ok at 1st..but once im back in Malaysia..his mum accused me for being gold digger T___T omg...she dont even know dat i always send parcel to her son in Japan..which cost a lot...but still want to cal me a Gold digger T__T

why malay language sucks, compared with indonesian language. The language doesn't sound good. Even some of the malaysians or singapore malays admitted that fact.
dude! for Jedi K: I do understand most of the things they say in malay.

Another thing, why do some of the malay singers (for example Siti Nurhaliza) she sings some of her songs (or maybe most of them or all of them im not sure) in Indonesian, not in malay. I know some other singers do this also.
While none, none of the Indonesians sing any their songs in malay language
which i found it funny

So isn't that a proof that malay language doesn't work well musically?

I went to Indonesia some months ago with my Nuna (my older sister). We went to Jakarta and met some Indonesian girls. They looked surprised when Nuna and I were speaking Korean language. And then, one of the girl asked us to chat with them. They asked us about our names, South Korea, and so many things about Korean and Boys Over Flowers drama, kk. I don't interested on those questions. So, I left them. They looked disappointed on the time, kk.

Well, I've lived there some years ago and I lived in Lippo Karawaci, where many Korean people live there. I'm studied at international school and never been anywere in Indonesia, except to my residential and school areas, kk. My friends mostly Korean, Chinese or Western. I rarely used to talk with Indonesian people. So, I was very surprised with the Indonesian girl's attitude to Korean people.

One more, I've chat with a girl from Indonesia on MSN. She said that she could speak Korean and wrote it to me. You know what? She used Google Translate to write Korean language! Kkkkk.

So, what do you think about them? Are mostly Indonesian girls being crazy about Korean?
