Hi! I am trying to say the following in Indonesian:

"As I remember, my answer was the same as all the other children's (answers.)"

The context is that, basically, when I was a child and people asked what I wanted to be, my answer was the same as everyone else's.

I came up with the following translation:
"Seingat saya, jawapan saya adalah sama dengan jawapan kanak-kanak lainnya."

My teacher said that, instead, it should read something like this:
"Kesimpulan saya, jawapan saya sama dengan jawapan anak-anak lain juga."

If anyone could please translate the given sentence into *Indonesian* (not Malay, as my teacher made very clear!), that would be great - because I don't really know what my teacher is talking about!!!!

i'm writing a thesis about language in mass communication. im an indonesian. in indonesia people start to use english in media when communicating with local people--which i find inappropriate and irrelevant. the mass media gives bad influence about indonesian language. the term indonenglish now is very popular. this term tries to describe the condition of indonesian language in indonesia. this has to do with culture because i think using english (foreign language) to your own mates who speak indonesians indicates how weak indonesian culture to its people--indonesians. The tendency of indonesians in media to use foreign language (english) when communicating with indonesians has become a habit, and will eventually be a culture.

I've got a little problem I want to get to know indonesian culture and language but I dont know where to begin I'm indo european,,even though both of my parents had indonesian relatives they dont know anything about it( I find it out by looking on family trees searching relatives and asking for 2 years!)
but they seem they dont want to have anything to do with it,,cause when I only say indonesia they are already like shut up!anyway does somebody know where I can find about indonesian culture. and I'm learning bahasa indonesian..but I dont know indonesian people does somebody maybe know a communtiy???Cause I dont think my bahasa indonesia will work out without practising/talking

My teacher doesnt teach us indonesian, all she does is write indonesian words down on the board and ask us what they mean. We dont know, you tell us. So this really cute guy on facebook requested to be my friend and he is from Indonesia. It seems like he can speak some English but it is really choppy. So I want to tell him that I think he is cute.
