I can understand why European languages use it, but why Indonesian and Vietnamese? Don't they have their own script? What historic event caused them to adopt it?
If the answer is the Dutch and French colonisers, I say, Bengali and Hindu kept their own script when the British came, what is different about Indonesia and Vietnam?
I meant Hindi not Hindu

English to Indonesian translation.?

I am trying to find a free service that will translate text in a Word document from English to Indonesian. Any ideas?

Have you ever had the true friend? Would you like to tell me with detail?

If you want to be my permanent contact so we can keep in touch weekly, you can send your email address. So we can talk further about our culture.

I'm using yahoo singapore but the notifications i receive are in indonesian language(from yahoo indonesia), is there a way to change the settings?

Thanks in advance
Xara, thanks for your kind answer. Yes, I think the family name you mention is correct, that character seems familiar to me. For additional detail. My family come from Fukien, so it's fukein dialect. The middle character is used to show my level, so all of my cousins middle name is Hak. Then also in my childhood one of my relatives said that my name means "writer/poeter"

anybody interested to learn Indonesian?
