The various forms of Malay are spoken in Brunei, Indonesia (where the national language, Indonesian, is a variety of it), Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and southern Thailand.

You have examples of Malay in that article, but I wouldn’t know about the differences.
I know "thank you" in Tagalog (filipino) is "salamat" and "salamat po" in a polite form.
"good morning" is "magandang umaga"
"good evening" is "magandang gaby". Like maganda=beautiful
"Mabuhay" as a welcome greeting, more a wish for a long live
child is "anak"
